        Lake Tenkiller How about a scenic drive? Go 2 ½ miles South 
        of Tahlequah at Hwy. 62 & 82 Junction turn South on 82. Approx. 5 
        miles you will enter the community of Keys. There are two routes going 
        around Lake Tenkiller. At the corner where Bank of America is located 
        is the intersection of Indian Road, which goes down the backside of the 
        lake to Fin & Feather. To visit the East side of the Lake, follow 
        Hwy. 82 which will intersect with Indian Road just West of the Tenkiller 
        dam if you go right toward Fin & Feather at the intersection to Gore 
        approx. 2 mile past dam. At the intersection of Hwy. 82 and 10 at McQuiks 
        Convenience Store, will take you South to Interstate 40 through Vian. 
        Stay on the main road straight to go over the dam and circle the lake. 
        The trip around Lake Tenkiller is a wonderful drive with a variety of 
        antique shops, businesses, restaurants, resorts and scenic enjoyment. 
        There is also an abundance of fishing, camping and outdoor recreational 
        facilities along the way. The complete drive around Lake Tenkiller is

        links on the main page of this website. Lower Illinois River Trout fishing and fresh cold water. At the intersection 2 ½ miles West of Tenkiller dam go South. This road goes back to Interstate 40. Along it there are numerous Restaurants and fishing holes for trout & stripers. MarVal Trout Camp & Resort 918/489-2295 1 1/3 miles north of Gore on Highway 100, right on Gore Landing Road, follow signs. Open 6am-10pm summer months, 7am-9pm off season. Full hookups, electric/water hookups, primitive sites, restrooms/showers, sanitary dump station, grocery, outdoor grills, picnic areas. Upper Scenic Illinois River East of Tahlequah on Hwy. 62 & 51 approx. 2 miles. Turn North on Hwy. 10 just before bridge. This follows the river and runs into Hwy. 412.
